Been wanting to get these for a while - the horror stories from the firmware have been scaring me. Probably better to get them from Officeworks so you can at least take them back.

    • what kind of issues do you mean?

      • +1

I bought them a month ago and my experience was horrific. Buggiest piece of tech i've ever used. Especially woeful considering how expensive they are. Shocking Support too. Check the Jabra subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Jabra/

        • Thanks for the feedback, hopefully I’ll get a good pair.

I got from OW, so any issues I’ll be taking them back

@DepTrai68: No worries, yep thats exactly what i did

          • @DepTrai68: office works matched the price of a grey goods product?

            Thought they didn't do that?

    • I had the Elite 75t's some time ago and they were buggy (connection and charging issues), then I swapped them over for the Elite Active 75t's and they've been great. Haven't experienced any issues.

Been using these for the last 3 months, and didn't feel the need to go back to my 2nd gen Apple Airpods. Haven't faced any firmware issues mentioned above. Excellent sound and call quality, and battery life. Only feature lacking is the ability to do wireless charging, as I got used to of it with my Airpods with wireless charging case. But not a deal breaker feature as most can live with wired charging. Excellent fit for running and exercising. Happy to answer any questions if it helps other OZBargainers.

    • I have the active 65t and am also happy with them, think they have the same drivers. I recently got the AirPod pros but honestly prefer my Jabras mainly because of sound quality and fit. Really thought pros would be a lot better.

      • And for the noise cancelling, as good as the airpods pro?

        Thanks

        • No active noise cancelling so obviously can’t compare, but I find they isolate out noise better than the AirPod pros, probably because they fit me better. Tbh I’m a bit underwhelmed by the anc in the AirPods but haven’t had a chance to test on a plane.

    • Hi
For call quality, is it as good as the airpods?
Can take calls in busy street without complains from other side?

      Thanks

      • I get the feeling the the AirPods may be slightly better, but from feedback from the other end on quite a few phone and video calls not much difference.

Yes, I am using it for daily Zoom calls for work as well as usual phone calls as well, and haven't faced any issues with these. Was using Airpods before but now only use these. Another plus for Jabra is it can be connected with 2 devices simultaneously, so I keep it connected to my phone for calls and my computer for Zoom/Skype calls. A very handy feature for practical day to day use.

        • Is it hard to switch between the two connected devices? What’s the process for switching?

          • +1

@DepTrai68: You don't need to switch, as both the devices are connected as Active devices and once you answer a call on any device, it switches to that automatically.

Jabra has horrible support FYI. 24-48 hours between support emails (which arrive at 1am), often asking me the same things I'd already mentioned over the phone in my first ticket. After the 4th email I said cancel the ticket I'm sending headphones back to Amazon.

  • What's the difference between the regular 75s and this active model?

Want to buy it for my wife to mainly use on zoom calls and eventually commute into work once everything settles down.

  • Has anyone managed to OW price match in store yet?

    • +1

You can call the head office to price beat and organise to pick it up in store.

I’ve found calling much more efficient than in store where they seem to find any excuse not to do it and drag it on but those are my local stores might be different in your area.

      • Oh I didn't know you could do that. Thanks!

Yeah my local is the same, wanted to avoid dealing with them but also wanted to pick them up today.

        • Just got off the phone with OW head office, they refused to price match TobyDeals

          • @sabbyy: I tried this morning too and they refused to price match. The reason being the stock is coming from Hong Kong.

Is it possible for anyone to share the order number where they managed get the price match?

            Thanks in advance!

I bought a Samsung Galaxy A71 from them last month. Took 5 weeks for delivery. Emailed them for query and it took them over a week to respond. Will never deal with them again. Wasted my money selecting the speedy delivery option.
