What is best way to port from ALDI to BOOST?

Hey Guys, I want to port from ALDI to BOOST soon.
I called boost they said different TELSTRA network so won't be problem porting directly from ALDI to BOOST.
But just read some case had issued to port from ALDI to BOOST.

Is it better to buy $2 OPTUS sim and transfer to OPTUS and BOOST( ALDI => OPTUS => BOOST)?
also after porting to OPTUS I can port again to BOOST right away?

        If you activate the Optus sim over live chat no recharge is required

        yes, but you'll need credit to port from optus to boost because they'll send you a confirmation text, you'll have to reply to that text to proceed

    Any details of what that issue was? Seems a lot of bother to go through Optus if you don't need to.

    I'm doing the same thing and just jumped on Kogan for a month at $4.90 to be safe. Have had my number 23 years so don't want to risk porting issues :)

    Ported Aldi to Boost this afternoon in 9 minutes all up.

    Aldi is on the Telstra Wholesale Network, while boost is on the Telstra Network so porting will not be an issue. System issues with Telstra porting team may have caused issues with those users.

    If you are on Belong or Telstra Mobile and going to Boost then you can't port. It has to be transferred to Boost by Telstra. Same with going from Boost and Telstra Mobile to Belong.

        I bought a $150 Boost sim and transfer it from Aldi to Boost.

          Ah I see. I asked because if porting from Telstra (JB Hifi) to Boost, seems we need to request another SIM from Boost.
          Then this extra SIM is not needed if porting from Aldi. Good to know. Thanks!

            @carypig: Aldi and Boost Telstra network is different. (I checked with both of them. They all said there is no issue)
            Batter check with your mobile provider :)

    I have tried to port from Aldi to Optus, planning then to port from Optus to Boost.
    However I have waited for 5 days in the first step. When I called Optus, it said the request has been sent to Aldi, still waiting.
    What can I do? Any number to call Aldi?
