      24 June, it has a 6 month best before, so brewed in December.

        To be clear, most breweries in Australia work off a 9 month or 12 month best before date. Prost works off 6 months. It's not as though the life of the same style of beer differs between the breweries, it's just the standard of freshness that Prost applies, as they want the beer sold within 6 months. Hope that makes sense.

      Cheap beer, very bland, they sell it across Indonesia in pubs and restaurants, price is lower than bintang, some places do buy 3 get 1

        This is probably a liquidation. At $25/case, I'm cool with it. Sent an email asking for 4 cases, they replied with a time window, I gave them my address and cash on delivery. Life's good.

        Bland is one word. But it's beer and it's basic. I am gonna destroy these 4 cases with ease. Probably keen to move on by the 4th one, though.

    No this is a different style than Bintang.

    It's garbage tasting and I wouldn't bother, there's a reason it's the cheapest beer ever. I'd guess that someone saw that Bali is closed and bought tons of pallets from a liquidator and shipped them over.

      I don't know, I tried some in Bali and it wwas pretty tasty.
      Of course it came with a bowl of peanuts, spectacular sunset and raging thirst so I might have enjoyed pretty much anything :)
      Bintangs never seem to taste as good back in Oz so maybe it's just the high temps and holiday mode swaying my judgement.

    This is absolutely well worth the $100. Got a swag bag with cool nic nacs in it and the lovely person that delivered sent a text message with a half hour heads up for delivery (which was useful, as I was on my way home…)

    Beer is good. Drinkable. Bitter german style hoppy aftertaste. Very basic but my go to is pure blonde so I'm not looking for a lot more than drinkable.

    $25/case is a steal. Cans might be small but same standard drink as most sub 5% beers that are 375ml as it's 4.8%.

    Happy days.

    Bag of merchandise thrown in
    Easy drinking lager, smooth with no aftertaste
    It’s a steal at this price
    Was bought in for festivals / fairs etc and getting toward BBF drinking date but it’s only 5 months old, show some love as the really nice dude who delivered (txt heads up 40 mins before was excellent) just trying to make a living in COVID-19 times
