ASUS RT-AX3000, but you missed out on https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/539280. PCCG has it for $349 plus shipping.

    • thats a shame :(

    • Good brand
  • ASUS RT-AX86U might be worth waiting for depending on your needs. Good brand, good firmware if flashed with Merlin, WPA3, quad core CPU 1.8Ghz, 1GB RAM. Shame they didn't bump the clock speed.

    • ASUS RT-AX86U will cost way more than $350

  • anyone else got recommendations?

    • There are not many routers with WPA3. Most routers are still using WPA2.

  • At that price point, it's probably the Asus AX3000, Netgear RAX40 or TP Link AX50.
I don't think the latter has WPA3 yet? Says "Coming Soon" on the TP-L website so in a firmware update at some stage I guess.

  • ALWAYS check with your ISP first
They will support anything they sell or recommend but no support for anything else

Im with aussie broadband but the one they supply IMO is <profanity>.

      • I'm guessing your talking about the Netcomm?

        Aussie sell Nest Wifi now.

        • yeah that netcomm rubbish but I want something good not locked to an isp

          • @itsjch: Aussie don't lock routers or customize the firmware. The only difference is discounted pricing.
