I don't know why you would choose this over Warzone tbh.
Playing this after Warzone makes this look 10 years old. Still unoptomized. Still looks horrible even on a good system.

I guess the only upside is that it takes up 1/4th of the disk space Warzone does.

In my opinion, even though they're both BR, they're two vastly different games.

I played Warzone for about 5 days and just couldn't get into it. All the jumping off roofs and flying around at super fast speeds, running and gunning.
I much prefer the slower paced hunting in PUBG and find it much more… Exhilarating? Anxious? Idk how to explain.

But I can definitely see why people would prefer Warzone. Better graphics, proper optimisation. And PUBG should have been optimised about 2 years ago.

This, very well aware of the limitations of PUBG and the fact that it is STILL buggy, but it is still my preferred game, Warzone is almost a midpoint game between PUBG and Fortnite, hence it's proven to be popular.

I like that explanation. Halfway between PUBG and Fortnite.

Because they are different games. Same genre, yes, but different games.

      Each to their own.

Tried Warzone and didn't like it. With supply crates, thermal scopes and parachuting off buildings it seemed like more of the same COD run'n'gun. Not to mention respawning multiple times due to the Gulag or your teammates bringing you back with supply crates or something. It felt more like a modified deathmatch mode than a battle royale.

PUBG has it's issues, but I still find it more rewarding and tense in the final stages.

      • Perhaps I like the gulag and respawning aspect because I was horrible at PUBG… that being said I'm not great Warzone but I like having multiple chances to fail.

If you try playing this on a 4 core cpu you're gonna have a bad time

    • Eh, it ran fine at 1440p at over 100 fps average on my 4790k for years before i upgraded recently. Granted the 4790k was kind of an outlier for longevity of quad core.

      • It used to be fine but in January an update has caused issues for a lot of people on older CPU's. 4790k is still a capable cpu for gaming, would even be an upgrade for me.

This Game has been dead for a while lol

  • This is the first time in going to be paying this game.

  • Do they have OCE duo servers again? When they removed OCE servers for months without a fix it really killed the game here. Trying to play with 200+ ping on SEA was impossible unless you were happy to be a snake in the grass for the first 15 mins of each match.

    • Nope. Although pings to SEA are in the 100-120's region most of the time.

    • This is what i came here to check, havent re installed it since as makes the game sooooooo hard to play however in its defrnce, also very hard to get a full game when they were in the process of removing it :/

Have they got rid of the hackers on PUBG yet? Great game ruined but scumbag Hackers!!

  • Is this finished? I wanted to try it but didn't get a chance.
