  Be wary of these. I have one and if you disconnect something while there's water pressure (i.e. tap on), when you go to reconnect something it sprays everywhere.

  Maybe good for something like a sprinkler in case of accidental disconnection but anything in your hand isn't worth it.

    Yeah they are more a hindrance then anything, i always cut the aqua stop out of the middle and convert them back to a normal fitting.

    Check valves are stupid.

    We used to just kink the hose for a second and it was fine.
