@kerfuffle: Yes. I have bought more than 100 of the same type of cards in previous offerings. Eg with Ebay, David Jones and Catch gift cards.
Their system cannot process more than 10 cards in 1 transaction. That is the only thing stopping you buying more than 10 cards at a time.
UPDATE: I have checked the current catalogue and confirm that there is no stated limit.

Are you able to convert these into Qantas points if you linked both accouns? Qantas doesn’t say anything about Qantas points converted from Woolies rewards points having to have come from purchases other than gift cards.

I asked them to confirm at Woolworths today, and they said that it's not for all customers, only if you specifically have it in your own Woolworths Rewards app appearing as an offer. So I downloaded the app and it wasn't in there for me.
Did anyone else have this? It says "May not be available in all stores", but I thought that just meant that they don't have the cards.
It's advertised in the catalogue … The OP who posted it is from Melbourne, just like you, so you should be able to get the offer just by scanning your Rewards card …
