In my experience, Bitdefender licenses start the days count only from the day of activation. So you can keep if unused in case you have a different subscription nearing expiry.
It does not have any expiry for activation. If you are already using Total Security 5 Devices subscription, you can also extend your existing subscription.
BitDefender vs Kaspersky?
Both are extremely similar in their capabilities. Per AV compartives and AV-test.org.
Bitdefender is consistently better, however.

Been doing this for years without any issues.No difference between the trial version and the paid version from what I can tell.

I understand that the 5 user subscription will still continue until it expires. Im just wanting to know if I buy a 10 user subscription, that I am able to combine without issues.
If You try to add a 10 device subscription on top of 5 devices, the existing license will be replaced. The product and Number of devices should be the same.

Windows Defender is FREE people… OzBargain right there. Or you could run a VM of windows with GPU passthrough on Proxmox and just wipe/restore if you're a malware magnet.
i asked for 5 devices and chose 3 years and it ends up as $89.95. Furthermore attempt to apply coupon but it doesn't recognise the code therefore the price didn't change. Please help OP
