The thing that sucks about Costco online is every item is inflated as it includes delivery, as opposed to a delivery fee on top of total.

  • This normal price.

  • $3 a roll? That's not a bargain!

Standard price at Costco. Not a bargain.

Half of OP’s posts are just standard price stuff that’s in stock lol

Fantastic paper towel, the best going around.
But. This is regular price and the two stores i visit in Melb have been getting stock quiet often.
No bargain/discount listed. This is a PSA.

I used to walk past these given the price was nothing special but after being given some rolls by family during COVID I'm massively impressed.

The roll itself is taller than what you will find at supermarkets, meaning the surface area of a Kirkland "half sheet" is about the same as a full sheet of Viva/Tuffy.

If you use half sheets, every 100 "half sheets" cost 35.99/(12x160x2) = 0.94c to use.
Compared to Tuffy (the OzB choice), when 1/2 price the per 100 sheet cost is 2.15/(60x3) = $1.79, almost double.

As far as quality goes, I have Kirkland, Viva and Tuffy all around the same - certainly higher than Handee and the home brands.

    • The word is that Kirkland is pretty much the only brand you should buy when at costco. It's said to be effectively from a massive name brand producing it, however they are required to out do their own product as well in terms of quality, i.e. if Kirkland has corn flakes, Kellogs would be making it, but they would have be even better than Kellogs branded Corn Flakes.

  • Just went to Auburn Costco they had no stock
