    Persian Greek Dip

    🤔
Thanks OP! I wish they used the proper name of each dish as well as it's English name.

Yeah, very weird naming. The most famous dish, Chelow Kabab is called Persian Lemon Kabobs.

Very weird indeed. I'm looking at the list and trying real hard to decipher what some of those listed in the cookbook are traditionally called. I can't find any ghormeh sabzi, adas polo, gheymeh polo, or zereshk polo… these are all pretty standard dishes

        • Maybe they are in the much more down the bottom

      • lol the heck… i need to check it out, in the lamb mince skewers there is NO LEMON, you put in a little bit of sumac but not lemon! in the chicken there is for the marinade ..

You'd think we would have learnt something from the Greek-Persian wars by now.

No Greek dip is safe from a Persian twist.

Just curious about the cooking books. Wouldn't it be easier to watch on Youtube if I really want to learn a recipe?

    • or just google the name in general. However, if you do not know what it is called you wont be able to google it.
