I'm not a gamer by any means, but HOMM 3 is my all-time favourite game, and I periodically load it up and replay it. I did the same tonight, and thought I'd have a look to see the prices of the other versions and noticed that they are all on sale at GOG.

Prices below are the AUD conversions listed on GOG - you can change currency at the bottom of the screen for USD/AUD.

Heroes of Might and Magic $3.69

FYI the Chronicles: All Chapters looks like it is basically HOMM 3.5 and is not 'all chapters' of the older versions. I haven't played this one, but am considering buying just for something different.

Hopefully some old and new fans can get themselves some HOMM game play.

  HOMM 4 is completely underrated. Many HOMM "traditionalist" hated the new mechanics but I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

    Same, idk why people don't rate it well. Awesome music and storytelling, and your heroes turn into demigods after enough XP.
    Tell me who hasn't wanted to sneak past that Throngs of Black Dragons to get the sweet loot behind it.

  Thanks, bought 3. I remember playing this a lot back in the day, so the least I can do is actually buy a paid version 21 years later.

  I actually didn't have a good enough computer to play HOMM3 back in the day so I remember going to Kmart and buying HOMM2 instead.

  HoMM 3: Best Gameplay and Mechanics.
  HoMM 4: Best Soundtrack.

  Buy HoMM 3 first if you are new.
  Then try 4 and 5.
  Don't bother with HoMM 6.

  For those who have always wanted the soundtracks on live orchestra.
