I have seen a bunch of pico projectors etc but not wanting to spend over $200 as its just for a toy project.
Basically Iwant to have a Raspberry Pi 4 and a projector in one unit. I have an NES case to put it in.
Because of the case I cant go above the height of the boards components, but there is plenty of room on the side and also underneath.
Some of them have really long and skinny boards that wont fit, I have tried my best to find suitable units and then look at assembly/teardown videos.
I have seen some cellphones with good enough projectors but the whole phone tends to be cheaper than the projector piece itself, but getting the phone is a bit expensive just to rip it apart.
Motorola "moto mods" have a projector which is seperate from the phone but unsure if that can be worked into a usb connection.
Anyone done something similar?
Its really interesting because I'm looking for the same thing, it seems theres many of those yellow like units that I see online that don't seem too pricey. But personally I'd be a little happier dropping quality a little bit just to get a teensy tiny projector. And for some reason I haven't really been able to find one that fits.
