I have had this, and when comparing to GoPro Hero 7/8 Black:
1) bigger touch screen, much easier control settings
2) dual screen, front screen very good for vlogging
3) better user interface software
4) file system is simplier
5) stablisation is comparable to GoPro
6) interchangeable lens cover, good for switching filter or replace broken lens cover (compares to GoPro Hero 8 Black)
7) out-of-the-box color is not as good/sharp as GoPros
8) field of view is not as wide as GoPros

@iso9002 did they fix the lag on the screens when recording? it used to be a second or so delayed.
The latest firmware update has fixed the lagging issue. It is best value and quality action camera in the market. Dji did the great job. Only downside is that it is not wider angle lens when comparing with gopro.
@maxall: Awesome, thanks for letting me know. That issue was around for a long time so i assumed they couldn't fix it, will look further into it now :D.
One more question: what is recommended micro SD card for this?
I'm using class 10 ultra from SanDisk. But camera is saying card speed is too slow.Yes, i ran into the same problem. I have had tried 3x class 10 they all dont work, but worked on my GoPro 7 black. I researched and found it has to do with the bitrate, hence i got an U3 A2 microsd card to work with it (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07FCR3316/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i…)
Hmm, had been thinking of getting a GoPro 8, this compares pretty well in everything but the colour tone, a bit to flat for my liking. Is there an easy way to adjust this?
In camera no- theres two colour profiles - Normal and d-cinelike. However once you've got the footage onto a pc (or even your phone) then colour grading is easy, because its so flat you will be able to grade it a lot better than that gopro footage.

What's compatibility like on these when streaming to twitch via Android?
For someone who owns one of these … Any feedback / comments ? There's cameras that state 4k and then there's 4k…
I'm just trying to get an OzB actual review from people who have it … compared to ones you find online that may / may not be completely accurate. The OzB review team are pretty blunt with their opinions :D
