Who would've though after the great toilet paper run of 2020, supermarkets would finish up with excess stock … serves them right for price gouging back then.

lol what is it with aussies and bashing colesworths? Do you people find joy in it?
Do you really find joy in supermarkets having excess stock of TP? Did you really expect 1/2 price when it was in such a high demand?

How would you know what race/nationality I am?

My comment about price gouging wasn't limited to the toilet paper. They priced gouged on just about everything.

I's been a long way from where we began

    • Yep. I remember this exact item coming in stock at $8.80 and one per customer and people were going wild for it.

Quilton 8 pack is $3.75 at woolies, if you dont feel like getting poo on your hands.

I sometimes wonder whilst wandering down the TP isle how Kleenex is even still stocked or in business.
Can't be advertising alone, maybe some people have never tried anything else.

        Ribbed for your pleasure…

  • mate its all the itchy stuff reduced because the manufacturers produced only the cheap stuff to sell at full rrp.

and both coles and woolly's gouged - woolys being the worst offenders by far.

woolys failure to also limit overcrowding and their refusal to supply gel and wipes revealed them to be completely UN-AUSTRALIAN.

    • How about all the shoppers hoarding toilet paper, pasta, hand wash etc, that's equally as bad.

people made money from spending it?

as opposed to exploiting the fears caused by a pandemic to make even more money?
