I don't understand how any Ozbargainer could think $3.38 for a razor blade is a bargain when you get a better shave from a 20 cent blade.

      • I think they are referring to double edge safety razors. They are very cheap but they have their downsides too.

        • I am. The only downside is that you have to learn a new skill and acquiring shaving gear is addictive.

          • @crc32: Thanks. I only shave for a couple weeks of the year when I have to wear a full respirator when spraying herbicide so it’s probably easier for me to stick with cheap disposables.

          • @crc32: I second the vote for shaving with safety razors. I am only 2 months in and it’s great. I used to be a Mach 3 guy, but the safety razor gives a much closer shave. I am using the Climate Saloon Platinum blades I got with my razor and they are pretty good, but I feel they could be sharper. I was about to try Astras, as I had heard they weren’t as sharp as the Featherlites?

@Aaron4Value: Astra are my favourites but it's good to try a variety before you settle on a hundred blades.

I'd prefer to laser off all facial hair so won't have to use blades.

Aldi Calibre are better, and Aldi don't think all men are misogynists, which is nice
