Mod: From rep

Green Harvest has been listed by a third party without our permission offering a free guide. This was also offered last year and we were so overwhelmed by people supposedly wanting this guide we were unable to provide this printed document. Due covid 19 we are not printing a new guide and the current listing shows for an expired product.
Again, we have not been asked about this submission and request immediate removal.
If a points system is in place for the lister of this and the last offer I would -10000

A copy of this will be posted to the Australia Post address you have provided.

Why can't they just email a pdf?

No part of this website may be reproduced without permission of the owner

Who else wants their website to look like it was built in 1997?

    • "Please provide your email address if you wish to receive free seasonal newsletters several times a year" would solve the ".pdf" question. Provision of an e-mail address is not a requirement, possibly because the people who provide the site were probably building web-pages in 1997 and would consider it rude to ask for an advertising portal in return for allowing you to shop.

      Possibly be design.

The only caveats I have having looked at the site are [a] No names are given regarding the people offering this great wonderous opportunity,[b] the seeds appear quite pricey and [c] it is a Queenslandmail-order company.

Sorry about the last, but I'm of an age where the production of "Pix" and "People" was brought to you by the imaginations and advertsing dollars of the Brisbane Gullible Shark Fishing Association and the Jo era Queensland trade laws…

    Response when posted last year:

    Wow, what an overwhelming response
to the offer posted by an Ozbargain member to receive our FREE annual Australian Organic Gardening Resource Guide.

We have been promoting organic growing in Australia for homes, schools, community gardens and small farms, for 30 years, but still found it amazing that thousands of you requested we post out our Organic Guide.

Our apologies for the delay in contacting you but this response was completely unexpected and came out of the blue. In order to reduce the environmental impact of printing and posting we would like to encourage you to head back to our website as it is a phenomenal resource of information and products on edible plants, heirloom seeds and organic pest management.

If after browsing our website, or joining our organic gardening Facebook community you would still like to receive a printed copy of our 48 page Australian Organic Gardening Resource Guide then we can post this to you with an order.

    Exclusive Deals
Special offers only available to the Ozbargain community:
    Spring Food Gardening Newsletter
Sowing and Planting Guide; How to Grow Delicious Tomatoes; Spring Citrus Care; Attract Insect-Eating Birds

yes very nice and please make sure you send some to Canberra since our useless pollies are on indefinite paid gardening leave…

    • That's ok. They took a pay cut to help the economy so….. all good.

      • still on garden leave indefinitely… and useless to boot.

  • I'd rather not get the paperback, does anyone know if they do an ebook?

      Ask them via their website and then post back. They do offer a "Free Australian Organic Gardening E-Newsletter";
"Please provide your email address if you wish to receive free seasonal newsletters several times a year, full of great ideas to do in the garden. It will include sowing guides, pest control ideas and the availability of edible plants such as garlic, potatoes and strawberries (if you live in QLD, NSW, VIC or NT); see our Privacy Policy."

These guys also have gift certificates, I've sent a couple to my mum so that she could buy seeds and equipment. She was really happy with them.
