Im looking to get a 24" monitor (no bigger) for my 13yr old son, primarily for hooking up to laptop for his school work, but also to use for his Xbox-one-S. I'm on a tight timeframe and looking at AOC 24G2E5 that I can currently store pickup for $239 (I know pre-covid it was less and can get it for low 200ish online but i'm under the pump timewise and pickup is my only option, insert "dad leaving birthday present to last minute" here). The AOC 24G2E5 is 75Hz with freesync for xbox. Dont need to go up to the AOC 24G2 -144hz as he wont be getting a gaming PC.
Does anyone have any better options/opinions on monitors with similar specs 75hz/freesync/2 hdmi ports and similar price point.

Sounds like a good buy for the purpose to me.
I guess you could save money by going 60Hz and no adaptive sync for this purpose (not sure they serve a purpose here), but the cost saving is probably small.
