Having a lot of money and then the problem is solved.
How to have a lot of money?
This concern is out of the book's scope =)))

    Just joking =)))

I've seen a lot of "protesters" lately walking away with a free TV and a smile. Maybe that's what we all need.

It does buy nice things to be miserable with, though

The author just rips off titles of successful books and fills it with a few pages of stolen material.

Apparently nothing to worry about 🤣

    • Exactly what I was thinking. I remember reading a Dale Carnegie book of this title a long time ago and I thought it was the same one, to only see it is by someone else.

      • how is that Dale Carnegie one?

        • +1

I've found it to be excellent, a bit dated in some areas obviously but the first few chapters are genuinely helpful, would definitely recommend

        • It has been a long time ago when I read it so I really can't remember that much about it, but it wasn't as epic as his famous book "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

  • I worry that I'm going to waste my time downloading and reading this book.

Does anyone have a book I can read that'll teach me not to worry about downloading a book that'll teach me not to worry so much?

I just worry so much that I don't know where to start.
This book first, or wait for someone to write another book to teach me how to not worry?

I really do want to be living a happier less worrisome life.

I definitely don't worry anywhere near enough about anything that I should…. but I wouldn't call my life "living"

I think I would've "lived" my life a lot more if I'd been in a successful band… needed talent though, so that was always a no

The best I can hope for is to score a nice deal here and be a little bit proud of myself for saving a couple of bucks by investing thousands of hours

I'll save you the hassle of reading the book.
Switch off all media, including social media for a month. If you have the option travel somewhere while doing this, then reflect on how more fulfilling life is when you don't have constant messages telling you how awful everything is all the time.

Use this whole Covid, George Floyd debacle as examples. If you had no exposure to media you wouldn't have even know any of it happened and you would actually be better off because of it.

The media is the cancer that makes everyone's lives worse.

    • Ignorance is bliss

      • uninformed or misinformed which is worse?

        • Valid point, as long as you know that you don't know.

Choosing between the two sounds like a race to the bottom to me.

    • +2

You would've gotten a nice fine from the police if you had no information about restrictions.

I believe the aftermath of what happened to George Floyd is a positive thing. Most of the protests were peaceful, you obviously see the worst of it in the news, but guess what, that's what gets ratings and we only have our selves to blame for the 'entertainment'

      • -2

"I believe the aftermath of what happened to George Floyd is a positive thing."
In what way? The display of complete and utter stupidity by muppets who lack the cognitive ability to think clearly?
