Micro Sim Card adaptor

Hi Guys,
I want to use my Micro Sim card (currently used in my iPhone 4) to another phone (Nexus S)

Is there any adaptor in market? (same like Micro SD card adaptor)
Or any other option?

I have google’d and also searched in eBay - there are heaps of "Micro Sim card adaptors" which looks like the sim card tray for the iPhone 4 - but unable to get a confirmation if these "adaptors" can be used in another phones…

Any assistance will be appreciated

N.B. I don't want to use a normal Sim card because I will be using both phones randomly

Cheers
Bappy

im 99% sure you can use it for nexus or other phone. all those adaptor do is convert the micro sims to full size sim.
so, unless the original simcard for nexus is different from normal sim, then yes you can.

Yes, those adapters will allow your microSIM to be used in normal SIM phones.
Personally I'd just make one from some plastic/card and sticky tape..
all it's doing is adding a bit of plastic to make it easy to slip your SIM in and out of the SIM card holder in the non iPhone.
If you had the patience, you could probably position the micro-SIM in the non-iPhone and tape it there (might need tweezers or similar to get it out again though.

I got a Nexus S and you don't need any adapters. Just put the microsim into your Nexus S and make sure it's in the right place.
Adapters are dodgy as too, the microsim keeps falling off it when you try to put it in.

  • Thanks guys

  • or i bought 5x adaptors from ebay for $2

    $15 = ROFL

HERE IS AN EASY SOLUTION - SEE MY PICTURE http://i56.tinypic.com/n1uv68.jpg

Go and buy a $2 Optus starter pack. Snap out the sim, then snap out the mini-sim and chuck away.

Or, if you are a TRUE Ozbargainer… just go to a phone shop and scab one out of the rubbish bin.

My GOD! I've been craving to know this for years!
They don't actually care if you take the recycled stuff??
I gotta try this someday, people throw out perfectly usable phones for the new shiny thing which might have antenna problems.

      • lol A true bargain hunter!
