Missing Parcel with Sendle. No Support at All. Seems I Am Not The Only One!

My first (and last) time using Sendle. They aren’t a courier company like Toll or DHL which I’ve had no major problems with- Sendle seems almost like a scam company.

Bought an item off eBay and they used Sendle as Australia Post had Covid19 delays. I was at home during Covid lockdown for 1 week. NO ATTEMPTS at delivery but tracking says “attempted delivery” x3. Delivered back to sender and got lost. I opened up an investigation with no satisfactory outcome.. No phone number support. I emailed 5 times over 2 weeks with no response.

I’ve read through the Google Reviews and they’re TERRIBLE. Very high rate of missing deliveries, or no attempts at delivery. Worst is there’s NO SUPPORT. Your missing item enquiry just ends up with “Parcel missing” and.. that’s it.

Definitely much much worse than Australia Post- they have zero accountability.

  • There is a similar thread posted elsewhere, however if I notice before purchasing this is enough to stop me buying an item.

    Pre COVID I had multiple packages take 1 to 2 months to arrive with unreliable tracking and almost no support by Sendle.

    I've sent 28 packages with sendle so far. No problems.

    They aren't a courier company though. Sendle is just a broker with a nice front end booking system. Most of my packages have gone with couriers please or fast way.

    I'm sure you'll get on to their support team eventually. Good luck.

    I suspect this post has some other motives than complaining. I have been using sendle for quite some time and they have been faster than Austpost because all my items were shipped via Courier please.

  • Had massive problems with Sendle, lost parcels, delayed parcels, multiple failed pickups. Would never use them again as a sender or receiver, and as another poster said, it's enough to get me to use a different seller if I see they're using them.

  • Sendle = Couriers Please or Fastway (90% of the time) or

    A quick search for Couriers Please or Fastway reviews will give you more than enough reason to avoid them at all costs

    fyi, googling any courier company has bad reviews.

    but yes, going with the cheapest usually has the worst tracking.

    They are not the actual carrier
    Just an intermediary order taker and nothing more
    They use the cheapest nastiest couriers and pay them a pitence.
    As they say - pay bananas and get monkeys
