Is this handmade by sultans or something? How does this retail for $70???

It's the same standard design as a 1000 other insulated water bottles

      The sultans of swig

    • Yeh how are these $70? My work gives these out for free

    Not part of prime

  • Last week woolies have 1L Sistema insulated thermal water bottle that keep drinks 24hrs cold or 12hrs hot for only $15. This is not deal, more like a rip off.

It's not the same product, not really worth a neg unless you've seen a s'well branded one for cheaper. Although the 10 bucks shipping kills it

This keeps water cold for 54 hours and has triple insulation but good try 👏👏

      • Well it's not 54 hours, it's actually 24, plus if you look at the link below I can't find anything different between this and the one linked.

$70 is just ridiculous for a bottle which has a stock standard shape and style, made out of the same quality steel and retails elsewhere (even with decent brands) for half that price.

19.95 may be a reasonable value for this however it's not a deal being 19.95 + 9.99 shipping, I'm negging because of this not being part of prime and sneaking and extra $10 on the price of this item and not making that clear in the ad. As this shipping cost pushes it back into the realm of the RRP of similar products

        • I only drink water, no coffee, no tea etc. I use to use basic pick up models, Coles etc, then Sigg and then moved to these. They are the Beez kneez of water bottles. Most I've paid is $40 for a double insulated model.

I reccomended trying it if you are serious about water.

Ignoring the RRP and I agree with you. $30 is a great price point for a bottle that is best in the business imo.

Haha! It's exactly the same as every other $10 bottle. This is the ozbargain equivalent to trying to sell ice to Eskimos.

You've never used this brand have you?

I owned a swell, paid $40 for mine 2 years ago. I've owned many types of thermos before. The most expensive one I bought was from Japan for $70. My opinion is that Swell is very solid as a thermos. Although your average person probably wouldn't care, and the avg thermos prob could do a similar job. Swell usually have some really cool designs, that's what made me buy mine, but this one I guess is a standard black.

    • Not sure I can think of any design that makes a $15 water bottle worth $70

  • thanks OP, got one in Turquoise Blue for same price, i have been waiting for this brand to go on sale coz the first one i got 2 years ago (500ml but i paid $35 and it was already on sale at that time) is really of good quality compared to the other brands I use. Thanks for sharing!

  • As somebody who does own a S'Well and who has bought those cheap Coles/TKMax or whatever other brands are out there they just dont compare.

If you want something that can be left in the sun accidentally all day and then still open it to perfectly cold water this is it, bought another as mine is now about 3years old and still going strong so at least i can leave another at work now.

  • If you are serious about hydration this is it

  • I'm still rocking the $10 Thermos that was on here from a year or so ago.

Same style of bottle but not as insulated, still keeps my tea hot for closer to 24hrs.

Honestly can't imagine a situation where you'd want a liquid hot for 54hrs where you don't have access to heating/boiling but would still take a heavy insulated flask with you.

  • I'm worried these aren't original S'well. Checked the S'well website where they talk about how to identify you're buying a legit S'well bottle https://www.swell.com/swell-authenticity/. At the end of the video it says it should say "Ships from and Sold by Amazon". This doesn't. I'll go buy a local Oasis brand since this is probably some Chinese knock off. Happy to be proven wrong.
