How to Recycle or Properly Dispose of Used Powerbank?
I know that normal alkaline and even Ni-Mh batteries of all sizes can be put in the battery recycling bins in front of Aldi but it is not meant for Lithium ion.

This. Some councils' libraries accept ewaste (including batteries and toner cartridges).
Officeworks.
Crack it open and swap out the cells for new ones, Linus Tech Tips has a video on how to do it.
Try mobile muster?
Maybe Officeworks as well or your local council tip will take them.

Battery World accepts all types of old batteries for recycling for free.
