  • so this can't be used for recharges can it?

    • Unfortunate no u can't use for recharge. U have to Port out to another teleco then port back.hope this helps

      • so for those on boost already, gotta:
        - get this deal
        - get some $5 sim, i.e. Aldi and port into it
        - port back to Boost purchased on this deal

        correct?

        • yes

        • Yes correct I've done that my self.

        • +3

To save 9 bucks and possible delays with churning?
          Doesn't seem worth it :)

        • There are some carriers that send SIM for free if you order online.. don't they? Is it Optus if I remember correctly?

    • Tbf this is already the best deal.

  • +2

When do I have to activate it by?

    • The current Boost $150 plan is expiring on 30/6. If you are going to activate your service before 30/6, this is a good deal, go for it. If you are not going to activate the service before 30/6, I suggest you to wait as the plan may vary.

      • Have you got a link for that? I might just hop on before it expires for the overseas calls.

        • just found info from earlier deal post.

@beyondhd: Yes, the 30/6 cutout is apparently not about changing conditions but rather Telsra not allowing third parties to discount this deal. Activation dates should be unaffected.

      Hi There

Sim card expires in March 2022 so you can activate it anytime before that

      • Just reading above comments about 30/6 deadline. So what exactly won't be possible after 30/6?

        • Buying these at a discount

          • @SgtBatten: It means it's better to grab it now even if the existing Boost plan is expiring in year end.

            • @virhlpool: I simply know what boost has written on there website. They will still having other companies selling these plans and only sell them through their site.

  • It is kit not recharge. Kit includes sim with plan not recharge coupon or code.

    Invalid code?

    • Hi There

We are received prders from customers already
      It seems all good
Please try again , i can not see any issues here

  • I've tried to find out what the new plan is after the 30/6 from boost but they won't say or don't know them selves lol.

    • +4

keep us updated if you do find out the new plan

      • The prices go down eventually, so I am expecting a better plan. Probably a little more data. 5g? :D

    • From the FAQ's "Yes! The $100 and $150 recharges are still available to any Boost Anytime Plus customers who recharge using a credit/debit card or paypal on the Boost App, boost.com.au or #111#"

      • Thanks, how does the recharge work? i never bought a recharge with credit card before, i got the $150 one at coles before

        • I think you sign in to their website and make online payment for whatever plan you want and your account is updated as you are making payment through your boost account, you don't need any voucher.

  • 3BM14 discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart

    • Hi There

  • Discount code is now working.

  • Are local inc mobiles called included? What network? Thanks

    • Hi There

      Telstra Network
      yes local calls included

      • Is it true that Telstra/Boost will terminate the $150 service by the end of this month?

I saw this being mentioned on tovmobile.

  • Have officeworks price matched these deals in the past??

    • they won't price match as you have to apply a code to get the price.

    • +1

Some people have had success just showing the staff the checkout page with the code applied. YMMV though.

  • Can I buy this as a recharge and only use in October as an existing Boost customer? I think there was a communication sent by Boost that they would only be selling these recharges directly from 1st July…hence the confusion…

  • do you have a deal on the $300 Boost?

  • Thanks OP! Worked for me

  • If I need a new number, do I get a choice to select a new number? Like we get to do at the outlet.

  • +5

Optus is currently doing 120 gigs of data for 150 dollars

  • Thanks. Ordered one.

  • I have never used a prepaid, what will happen after 12 months? Will the sim expire and i loose my number??

    • Not if you recharge or find a better deal and port your number elsewhere. Most providers will hold your number for a while (ALDI/Tls is 90 days) if there is a gap between your prepaid "contracts"/services.

    • boost is 6 months according to the faq

      https://boost.com.au/get-help/help-topics/#1551998681626-b13…

"how long do I not have to recharge before my number expires?"

  • Ordered. Thanks.

  • So if I'm with Optus now, can I buy this and keep my Optus number ??

    • in theory - yes.

    • Of course

    • As long as you're not locked into a contract with Optus.

  • Quick question - is there is a possibility of terminating the plan earlier? Like, moving overseas etc?

    • +1

Terminating the service anytime should be fine but getting pro-rated refund, probably no. Happy to be corrected.

    • +1

Terminating a 12 month prepaid plan early doesn't achieve anything. Just remove the sim card from your phone & stop using it.
