      Works for me

Slightly misleading course title, this course does not include the certification, this course is preparation to take the exam for the certification.

Im pretty sure the creators of these courses are fulfilling some kind of uni assignment

    • lmao most likely. I just finished a unit on cloud application using AWS, seems relatively similar to what I was taught.

I know your pain, IT is the only industry where people compete to see who knows more completely useless bullshit

  • Scam?

    • +9

This course is bad. The contents are bad. The sample exams with 10 questions each are useless.
It's a waste of time. It's free, but I already wasted too much time to review this junk course.

      • +2

I mean, a scam call is free and it's still a scam so I think it's safe to say that with your review this is a scam course

Thankfully it has 30 day money back guarantee

    • +1

Satisfaction guaranteed, or double your garbage back.

Hmm careful with purchase :-) yeah it’s free, but it’s your time you’d waste should you decide to follow it.

This course doesn't have any reviews yet.

WTF :S I already bought an AWS developer one on udemy for $12, easily worth the money

    • You paid for a udemy course!!??

Do they actually have good courses worth paying for? It sounds like I'm wasting my time collecting junk courses.

(… well obviously I'm wasting my time collecting courses I'll never do)

If anyone is looking for a better course on this, have a look here: https://www.udemy.com/course/aws-certified-developer-associa… - it's $15.99 down from $204.99, although I doubt it is ever full price. I've been working through it the last couple of weeks and have found it pretty good.

  • So are these courses actually things you can say you are certified in or are they simply for personal development? Seems to be alot of courses in the same stuff so I assume you need to find the gems

    • +1

you can usually get a udemy certificate that says you've completed the course, but these AWS ones specifically are intended to learn the content required for the AWS certification exams

      • oohh. I need to read the fine print. So you don't become certified. It's learning material so you can go do the actual certified course.

        • +2

yep! AWS offers some learning materials directly, but they're a bit all over the place, so most people learn the content elsewhere. Here's some details of the certifications if you're interested https://aws.amazon.com/certification/

    • more of an exam prep and surrounding learnings for aws certification.

Is this a suitable qualification to become a taxi driver?

    • Maybe in 5-10 years when automation and cloud technology become so effective that software writes itself and we all need to start driving taxis. It's like a cycle, see.

  • Damn I just wasted 3 weeks on the Sub-Ultimate course
