Help Me Name My New Company!

Hey Ozbargainers!

So I've completed many home loans in the last few years for many OzBargainers as a Home Lending Manager for a major bank - I've now made the move to open up my own company as a Mortgage Broker in the next couple of weeks.

I need your help with the name!

The names I keep thinking of are either too cheesy/unforgettable/already taken.

I think I'd like along the lines of 'XYZ Finance' -give me your suggestions!

    I vote for treetop finance. Memorable, not to be confused with anything else, brings to mind positive things (being on top of things, growing) not cheesy, good potential for nice logos

    You should really get the domain name now before someone squats it

    My suggestion is that you should consider naming it after your suburb/town/region in some way or another. Feels good and local and is EXACTLY what people will search when they are googling. Especially if there's some sort of alliteration going on.

    For example:
    South Coast Finance (company name)
    Mortgage Broker (tagline)

    Simple, effective, clean, will be the one that comes up in the searches.

    Consider that all the ones that are a relatively common word or combination of such words aren't going to come up in most searches.

    As for the other suggestions here, I think "Lingo Loans" stuck with me the most as giving off a friendly and knowledgeable image whilst being memorable and searchable. Honestly, I think your options are very bland and unmemorable. Not that you should go for something ridiculous, but like I said, it has to be able to be found.

        I remember not long ago a finance company kept advertising moneytree.com.au finance but the domain wasnt even registered, what a waste of weeks of ad space

    If not yet mentioned or thought about - maybe think about your unique style/passion of helping people through your work, and then work out a simple name from those "vision/mission statements". Say,

    You'd like to provide families with a peace of mind - POM finance, Mindful, Peace, ..

    Your name is good too.. Aidan Finance, Finaid - Finance through Aidan
