  • Which would be better, this or the Lg g8s deal from jb?

if battery life is not a big deal for your definitly Pixel 3

      • Damn, is battery life difference huge between the 2 phones? I saw that the G8 had a non-removable battery which is kinda annoying if I needed it replaced, but if battery difference is very small il just go pixel then

        • Battery life is relative to your usage but Pixel 3 doesn't have a good battery life generally speaking and you most likely cann't finish the day with a single charge.

@Lordsina: This is untrue from my experience. I've had a Pixel 3 for 2 years and I'll go to bed with roughly 40% charge. During isolation I usually have around 60%+ left by end of day (Right now at roughly 6:30pm I have 72%).

Without going into specs I have the Pixel 3 and love it. For a general phone does all that is needed. +1 from me.

For the privacy-conscious who don't need to be involved in social media with everyone else, put GrapheneOS on this phone and you're good to go. I recently did this with my old Pixel 2 and I'm loving it.

    • I'm still doing everything with my 'current' pixel 2, current Android os. It runs browsing, social media, YouTube, iview and games etc all smoothly and no problems, same as it was when new.

had the pixel 3 for a year now and battery is terrible. if you're a heavy user it wont last a full day, expect to need a charger when you get home from work

Out of curiosity, can this be flashed to stock or is there a workaround to get rid of the Optus 'stuff'?

  • 2 generation old processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB.

2 weeks ago for 11 bucks more you could buy a phone with triple flagship grade cameras, only 1 generation old processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB.

    • +1

8gb of ram and a current processor in a budget brand phone (Oppo, Xiaomi etc) will neeeeever beat the experience of using a phone engineered by the same company that built Android OS.

So much noise was made about the 4gb of ram on release, but here we are almost 2 years later and the Pixel 3 is as responsive and buttery smooth as the day I bought it. Not to mention the constant security updates, software updates and new features they keep adding to their older Pixel devices. They're not perfect, they had their share of hardware faults, but damn the user experience is second to none.

    • which was?

  • Is the Pixel 4a likely to be equal to this in performance?

  • Only perks getting pixel 3 is the unlimited original photo quality upload up to 2022.

  • Anyone knows if I can use this price on 28 degrees price protection?
