      I have a collection of 107 whisky-ies…

Agree, not all of them from India are good.

But some of them from India are quite good like :
      -Amrut
      -Antiquity
      -Rampur (this here)
      -Old Monk (Rum)

Don't understand the emotional downvoting here…not all items can be good coming from India, China, Australia or whatever country…

I have half the number in my collection with no Indian ones, but have looked at Amrut and Rampur and from what I can gather across multiple whisky reviews, they do have certain releases that are great (but also some that aren't)… Just like any scotch brand.

And taste is all subjective. Don't know why ppl down vote on a plain old personal opinion. But at the same time, the way that non Scottish countries are producing whisky today, you no longer can say that Scotch "is the best".

Don't understand the emotional downvoting here

I reckon it's people trying out their bots. There's been lots of wierd, pointless +/-'ing in the past few months on here, especially comments. If I was guessing I'd say they're just trying to wind people up.

Paul John is pretty good too.

Most of the cheaper Indian brands are not good as they are made with a chemical process rather than natural. Some are sold as scotch but are not even near it. Thanks to corruption, they can get away with anything by paying up.

But this one is from a reputed company and should be good. I bought one to try.

Most people downvoting negetive coments are probably Indians and not even tasted it once. Most may not drink alcohol as well. They are mostly concerned about India's image rather than alcohol.
