    From the bit of Googling I just did, it seems the S8 is PD compatible which is a QC3.0 protocol, while the charger that comes bundled is only QC2.0. From that, I believe yes it may be slightly better as it wants 11W normally and this can provide 18W.

    @anarky - pls do not see this like 50% increase in charging speed (11w->18w). In a real world the difference might be zero or might be like 10% or something :) I have 18w charger and used to have S8, there was no dif. in charging speed. :)

    p.s. also depends on cable etc.

    Nope. Switch requires PD. And even then not evey PD power supply is compatible with Switch.
