halfoff

Got an ad through IG about this coffee deal. Might be cheapest delivered freshly roasted coffee beans yet (beats Sicilia by $5 for 1KG)

1kg or 3kg. 3kg works out at $16.50/kg so better deal if you drink enough coffee. This is a subscription (2 weeks or 4 weeks) but you can cancel anytime. It's the same backend that Fat Poppy's Uses so you can cancel by hitting the manage subscription link that they send you immediately after order.

Coffee:

CHERRY, WHITE CHOCOLATE, TOFFEE.

Blend of 75% San Rafael, Colombia and 25% Nziza Collective, Rwanda

JULY - 10th, 24th

AUGUST - 7th, 21st

SEPTEMBER - 4th, 18th

OCTOBER - 2nd, 16th, 30th

  • Only shows dispatch dates from July 10th for me, good deal but not going to order unless it will be shipped tomorrow

    • Looks like that's been updated. Interesting.

      • I just placed an order and received an order confirmation email. When I checked the delivery schedule, it shows July 9th as the earliest and the full price. Does that mean it will be dispatched tomorrow?

        • +1

Page got updated to July 10th after I posted. Either they reached their quota for Friday's batch or they had a 7PM cut off on orders the night before.

If I manage my subscription it says:

          NEXT CHARGE DATE
          Wednesday, July 22

and checking delivery schedule it says:

          July 22, 2020
          Full Price

After ordering I got an email that said:

          SHIPMENT

If you're signed up to monthly your order will be shipped on the closest date to that of which you signed up. If you're on fortnightly these dates are all you need to know.

          JULY - 10th, 24th
          AUGUST - 7th, 21st
          SEPTEMBER - 4th, 18th
          OCTOBER - 2nd, 16th, 30th
          NOVEMBER - 13th, 27th
          DECEMBER - 11th, 25th

My interpretation is that mine will be sent out in Friday's batched at half price and July 22 & beyond at full price. Guess we'll all find out tomorrow.

  • If only this deal came before the Inglewood deal … good price and would have been a new coffee to try. Oh well, next time around perhaps.

  • I went to school with the guy that owns this company.

Top bloke, shame i dont drink coffee

    • Hope the coffee is as good

    • I saw it is based in Yarraville, a place I love to visit pre-COVID. Would love to support a local Vic business, had I not just bought 2kg. I hope they return with the deal again in the near future.

  • Just checking, how do you pick the dispatch date? I couldn't see it during the order process, so I added a note to please dispatch on August 7th (per the dispatch dates above). When checking my subscriptions afterwards, I can cancel future ones (or all at once), but not change the dispatch date on the current order. Hopefully they respect my request because I also purchased from the Inglewood deal before this

    • I tried to look at doing this too … pay now but get it dispatched later (Aug). It does not seem possible since the subscription starts straightaway. If I am wrong, and it can be done, hope someone will share - I would be happy to order some.

      • +2

I emailed them asking about this and they said they saw my note and would indeed dispatch my order on August 7 as requested

        • Oh, that is great. Thank you, I might be able to order some then.

  • Got mine delivered today via random person except only 1kg instead of 3kg. Will have to sort out. Roast Date June 24.

Edit: All sorted and delivered rest of order.

    • A bummer, but could work out well. It might suit them and you to deliver the next 2kg on the next despatch date then :-)

  • I just ordered and my delivery schedule starts with July 24, 2020 and @ $39. Does it mean i wont get any coffee until after that date? Confused.

    • It means your first delivery will be July 10 at half price and your next delivery at full price ($39) will be July 24.
