Item with a Huge Discount after You’ve Purchased It

Since there are so many bargains here, I was wondering if anyone have experienced seeing something being on a huge discount right after you’ve bought it.

I’ve bought something roughly 4 months ago and now the exact same item is on a huge discount (50% off). The saddest part was that I did not use this item at all during these 4 months given the pandemic and could have just bought it right now when it’s discounted.

I’m sure some people experience this too. How do you deal with that sense of dissatisfaction mixed with guilt for buying it too early? I’m assuming most people just shrug it off and I’m trying to but man, I keep thinking about it and it’s making me feeling uneasy.

Would love to hear some experience and advices regarding this issue. Cheers!

Regards.

the pro people will buy with Credit Card that has price protection feature so they can claim the difference when price drops.
    double win.
they can use the thing earlier than others plus still getting them at the lowest price.

the not so pro, just get tissues ready when you cry…. or find a shoulder to cry on…. (like song by…. TP)

What’s the return policy of where you bought the item from initially? If it’s still unopened since you didn’t use it and they have a flexible return policy, try returning it for how much you paid for it, buy it for discounted price and buy some smashed avo with the savings.

I find that Calendars are marked down by April or May.
    Happens every year…

    Such a rip. Lol

    That's life.

I've also purchased things that have gone up in price after I've bought them - so it balances itself out eventually.

    Not worth worrying about IMO.

  • Hol' up - post the deal!

I would not call a price drop 4 MONTHS are you purchased an item "being on a huge discount RIGHT AFTER you’ve bought it."

A lot can happen to influence prices in 4 months, e.g. a global pandemic.

did you buy hand sanitizer at $50 or whatever it was, and now 4 months later it's $10?

  • As the age old saying goes:
"You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant."
