I bought this for my wife a few years ago, she thinks its much better than a generic/standard hairdryer. No idea of that's the case, but she's enjoyed it and it's still working great 3-4 years on.
Your wife is correct. I've used it and it is very good. It is still too expensive IMO, but it is not expensive rubbish.

She is very happy with the dryer, it is relatively quiet and take a shorter time to dry compared to another expensive Panasonic dryer we have.We have two girls at 5 years old with the same hairstyle. The one with Dyson dryer usually spends 5 mins less.
meh. Wife got precisely this one direct from Dyson. $399 including delivery. That was December 2019. Oh. And that included the free stand and accessory holder.

It's a good device. Ain't worth near half a grand.That's subjective, I bought one new for my wife when they were released, I can't remember the cost but it was north of $500 I believe, without a stand. She's had it for years and loves it, so all round I think the cost is worth it.

Got this direct from Dyson around 4 months ago with a free stand for the same price $466. Insanely good product. Obviously yes its expensive for a hair dryer, but like everything if you've got the money and want to buy nice things, go for it.

Was literally about to buy this at David Jones at the original price with $50 gift card offer…lucky I checked ozbargain first, got them to price match, and used DJ gift cards..so paid about $420 after all discounts
Yeah, just called and the guy said you still get $50 voucher from DJ. BUT… 1min hold later and said he was wrong. Price match or gift card, not both :(
DJ also has the free stand version listed on their site but can not purchase from the site. Prob not going to match it but lets try.
