Magnum Boots All $50 (+ Shipping - Free over $69) at Aussie Disposals (Online Only)

Seems to be a good variety of Magnum boot styles (including shoes). From my experience they seem to be a good, reliable and comfortable boot - at a decent price.

  • Nice one

  • I used to love these stores but seems that they are all recently closed in Adelaide. How does the sizing run?

    • +5

The higher the number the larger the boot. 👨‍✈️

  • I used to be issued the Magnum Force side zip at work, I never had a pair that the soles didn't delaminate on after about 3-4 months. The zippers were also prone to breaking/rusting if zipper lubricant was not used regularly. I went through about 10 pairs in the last 5 years I worked there for. The previous issued boots lasted 2-3 years a pair before needing replacement.

They're comfortable and apart from the build issues which massively affects their longevity, theyre pretty good boots.

The issues may have been fixed since though, for $50 it's probably worth a punt if you need this type of boot.

    • Interesting. I used to.pound the pavement 8 hours a day for 10 years and Magnums were the best I ever used. Mind you, that was 15/20.years ago now..

    • Almost carbon copy experience with delaminatiom of the sole. I usually wear through boots soles, but these still had the finer markings on the sole when it started to come away from the upper.

If it is still an issue with them, lifting up the sole, applying some shoe glue and clamping it would likely resolve it, or at least prolonge the life….

Super comfy, a bit oversized and clunky, but it's mostly extra padding. Not the lightest, but have had far worse.

      • Same experience, I’ve gone through 4 pairs of magnums in the last 3 years, the soles all seem to break down within a year. I tried their waterproof pair, also didn’t last. I learnt that taking them off properly without force prolongs the life. I’ve gone through about 3 pairs of Steel Blue boots also, and same shit, fell apart within a year. I lump meat and it’s vital for me to have good footwear, Ain’t nothing worse when slipping with a 90kg carcass on your back! As negative as I’ve been, I still nabbed 2 pairs, 50$ is fantastic value considering I’ve only ever paid 180-200 + each time before. Thanks OP. Nice little tax deduction.

  • I work 10-14hr shifts and use stealth force. Last pair lasted 5 years before I replaced just because they were starting to look ratty. Been wearing magnums for about 10 years and love them

  • Yeah I wouldn’t pay my own money for magnum boots, absolutely terrible durability.
