I wouldnt pay over $140 for a set of 3 Global knives, and i wouldnt spend more than $140 on Global knives no matter how many token knives they want to try to sell me.
For ~$180 I can get a set of 3 VG10 knives handmade from Seki, Japan.

I bet it would be cheaper to get a cabinet maker to hand make one if it is. Its just a magnet encased in wood.

I have a theory that some knife companies are trying to "spam" ozbargain, in an attempt to confuse our keen instincts!
They're making a killing off these and people are scooping them up. I paid $188 for my set about 5+ years ago now through HN Mega Buys when that was a thing.
If that knife stand is global, does that mean the flat-earthers have a point (pun intended)?
