Hi dude, I haven't played this specific guitar, but would assume that it would be solid laminate body. I'm not sure what sorta paint would be on it.
I think I'd be the most nervous about the no-name/generic pickups and tuning pegs, as those tend to make your guitar unplayable, even if the guitar feels nice to play.
If your budget is limited to $100 for the guitar (remember you will also need an amp or computer with virtual amp) I'd personally look for a used Yamaha Pacifica 012 or similar level Squire.

Thanks!

Won't let me add to cart, says out of stock.

Not that I doubted your information but I had a look and thought it was weird to have "out of stock" in green text instead of red (or anything else) 🤔

Yeah I don't really consider that shredding…

i'd say for around $150 delivered, you can't go wrong..

I do not need another guitar. I do not need another guitar. I do not need another guitar. I do not need another guitar.

Nor did I :)

Honestly I'm tempted but I suspect there are going to be a lot of orders refunded. Only 3 stores with stock. Besides I don't have room for this. :(

Got mine - and it's actually quite good. More like a $500 guitar than a $250 tbh.

Mine just arrived too - it needs work!
Pickups are dreadful/mismatched low output and muddy…truss rod cover is screwed in at an angle and the headstock is different than the website - I bought partly because of the old school logo but it's totally different: https://images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--1eJVKdOt--/f_auto,…
That said, the finish of the guitar is good - it seems solid and was a good price - reminds me of some of the Chibson (fake gibson) imports which can be found for $230-300 and similarly they need a lot of work - pickup replacements, fret level/dress, nut cut correctly and a full setup…But otherwise turn out to be nice guitars…

Are these solid body guitars? Any thoughts on quality?
