  • Hi OP, Can I use this device to connect to my laptop and receive a bluetooth audio connection to my wireless headphone .

    • Doesn't your laptop already have Bluetooth?

    • Hi srkailas, this can only use as a receiver, you can plug in your car or other spearkers and receive music or sound from other bluetooth device while connecting with it.

  • Yes it does, but with windows 7, no driver available to support Bose/Sony head phones, hence unable to connect

    • I am pretty sure you should still be able to find drivers if it was an integrated Bluetooth module. Do you have the device name? But yes, you could plug this in to your 3.5mm port on the laptop, though the quality wouldn't be as good as using Bluetooth directly from your PC.

You're better off spending the same money on a USB Bluetooth dongle if you absolutely needed to, like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Simplecom-USB-Bluetooth-4-0-Widc…

However I am pretty confident you will be able to find drivers.. let us know what you are seeing in Device Manager?

      • I don't get it, isn't this device a receiver? How would this help with a laptop?

        • Absolutely. Misread and thought it was a transmitter too (some do both, usually more expensive). It won't help, but the usb dongle will.

  • Anyway around to connect is much appreciated

  • Thank you for the advice. I will give it a go for the Ebay product. My IT guys did confirm windows 7 does not support any of the BT headphones like qc35 or xm3 and no drivers available

  • Has anyone tried this product? I usually just plug the Aux cable into my phone, but this might make things easier.

Particularly interested in the battery life and ability to charge it from the car's cigarette lighter.

  • Just an update from last time this item went up on sale..

I bought of the "Baseus USB 3.5mm Jack Aux Bluetooth Receiver Speaker for Car Audio Music, Built-in Microphone" and it does not work, cannot find the BT reciever on any device, I have been contacted by eskybird, and a rep here on OzBargain has contacted me for a replacement unit, still waiting on the unit, I do have the tracking number already.

Not sure if I got a bad unit or what… The customer service seems pretty quick, but as of right now. I have purchased the product with no working product, just a word of warning..

  • Hi OP. Any chance for a discount code for "Baseus Air Vent Mount Car Phone Holder for iPhone XR Intelligent Sensor QI Wireless Charger"?

  • What are people doing to avoid noise when powering it from a 12v to USB adapter?

  • I don't like the idea of having something I need to regularly charge up so would I be ok to leave it constantly plugged into the charger as I use it?
Maybe this would be better? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32994156374.html?spm=2114.12…

  • I bought this from the last deal. It seems that my phone is not detecting the Bluetooth when i plug it from the car audio aux. Couldnt find how to contact the seller.

  • Other than one being with cable, what're the other differences?
