    Umm, I think you should check again. DV6-6145TX is the Factory Scoop. Not DV6-4024TX

      OP hyperlinked to the Factory Scoop unit. Given that JB often make finding model numbers tricky, the warning stands.

        There was never any link in my comment, I only referred to the front page.

        And I referred to the exact model which is in store, and not the model you quoted, which is still available on their online store, and available for store pick up.

  Good to check at your local store too, Sometimes they have already discounted clearance stuff at store level and you still get 20% off that price

  Would the Compaq CQ43-102AU be alright for everyday browsing etc if you stuck another 2GB ram into it?

    I think it's a good deal if you just need it for browsing the web if you choose to put more ram in it keep in mind you have to replace the old entirely (so if you wanted another 2gb in it you need to buy a 4gb stick) it can take up to 8gb

  did a google search on DV6-4024TX
  old thread @ whirlpool reveals it was $599 at Harbey Norman August sale!

  so JB could do it better!
