  • Powerbulbs is a good company but they have 20 to 25% off specials literally every week. It's news when they're not having a 'special'

Agreed but looks like they finally got a warehouse in aus

  • Volkswagen Polo 2015 not there?

    • Facelift model? single headlamps?

  • Hi @PowerBulbs, what can I do if my car is not listed in your website. Mine is Toyota Camry 2017 but I can only find the Camry 2015 the most recent.

Use somthing like supercheap auto to find ur bulb type. Input ur rego and part find

    • XV70 or XV50?

  • @PowerBulbs I placed an order on the 18/6 for two sets of PIAA Xtreme White Plus H7. Shipping was from UK not Australia and it has been sitting at Heathrow ever since. I realise there is a worldwide freighting issue at the moment but is their any communication between powerbulbs and royalmail on how long the delay is at Heathrow before leaving the country?

    • just to give you an idea, an order i placed in march took 72 days to reach me. another order from may still hadn't arrived yet.

it's out of pbulb's hands/influence once it's with royal mail.

    • Drop me a pm with your order number and ill look into it

  • Any recommendations for some bright ones? I have a Kia Sorento 2006 and the headlights are horrible on and off road but no idea what to look for.

    • Philips Racingvision good value here - bright and whitish light rather than yellow.

If the plastic in you lenses has dulled/yellowed though - likely with 2006 model and Australian sun - you may need to cut and polish the lenses as well. There are kits for this, see other ozbargain deals.

      • racingvision has poor longevity — the most i got out of a few sets i tested was 5 months, but mostly, they lasted less than 4 months. also the whiter light doesn't mean you'll see better on the road.

and sometimes, it's not the bulbs or the cloudy headlight lenses but the driver's vision that needs a check-up. i see so many people driving down residential roads or even main roads with high beams on when it isn't even that dark that i wonder if they're medically fit to drive.
