geez that's duty free pricing….pity it's still a grossly overpriced drop.
It's funny how at the airports (Melbourne notably) how the duty free shops don't compare themselves to Dan Murphys, rather then other duty free outlets across the globe

    • duty free shops are for items that cannot be found (or are hard to find) in normal shops. I never touch anything duty-free that I can find in Liquorland, Dan's, etc. Not worth it.

      • really? I thought they're only good for ciggies & booze.
I'm a Laphroaig drinker and in Asia I get 2lt for around $80 the same as 1lt at dutyfree Melb & 700ml @ DM.

        • Orly? where do you get 2lt of Duty free laphroaig for $80 - now thats a bargain!

We need a site to keep track of duty-free travel bargains:-

          Recent for me:
          - Santiago, Chile: 2 x 1litre Chivas for USD$56
          - Colombo, Sri Lanka: 1litre JW Gold Label for USD$42

  • Hmm link is wrong? But theres 2 blue labels on the web so be sure to click the only with the small writing that says online only

  • The price of this stuff has come down quite a bit in the past year, is that just due to the higher dollar?

  • Agree with superbrudda - even at this price, I reckon it's overpriced. There are a lot of very nice single malts that you could get for well under this price. In terms of JW I reckon green label is probly the best value in my opinion.

  • I saw the same at Vintage Cellars website, except they have free freight on 3 or more. Anyone want to group buy? lol
