DJI Osmo Pocket - $299 from Protec Online via Kogan

260

I picked up one of these last week from kogan as a referb for $349. Just got an email for this as limited time offer of $299. Not sure how long it will last for.

Good little unit for shooting impromptu videos, active tracking works well.

Not sure how long it will last for.

Sold out now, aprox. in 5 minutes.

    • Darn, that was over quickly. Hopefully some OBs got themselves a deal.

  • Wow insane quick to be gone :(

Who took my stock?! At this price, I want to get one now.

      Back in stock

      • +1

        no it's not

        • -1

Yes it is, you can check for yourself

          • @jayboi: No its not. Once click add to cart, it says SOLD out.

            • @ISO9002: I apologise, didn’t try adding to cart, it says stock, but nothing, that means seller purposely put no stock to get attention and customers

          • @jayboi: It shows on site, but when you go you add to basket it flicks to out of stock. Poorly written site imho.

  • is this legit ?

    • Yes it is, it is on kogan

  • The factory refurbished unit at $349 still has stock —> https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/dji-osmo-pocket-stabilised-hand…

But it is in stock, why back extra for not brand new

      • Sorry I apologise, when you add to cart it says sold out, I think the seller purposely put it at that price and put no stock so they can get attention and get more customers to look at their items for sale

        • Really? Thats what they do? Thats low.

          • @ISO9002: When they listed their ad, they put the stock counter as 0 and that’s why it shows up as that

          • @ISO9002: I know it is a snake move but sellers do anything to attract customers and money

    • This deal is $50 cheaper and not refurbished

  • New model coming soon?

Looking closely at the Fimi Palm, really liking the FOV and a couple other features.

Yes, bought one, so far so good, but low light sucks as expected.

With all the online reviews, seems Dji Osmo Pocket is much better good at low light and 4k60 but no wifi no joystick no 128º FOV.

      • Yeah, wouldn't be using either camera in low-light actually, they're just not made for that IMO.

Sound on the Fimi Palm seems to be absolutely crapola. Definitely not a blogging device. But love the FOV, and the WiFi and joystick are pretty relevant features for me.

        • Exactly! Thats why i got the Fimi Palm. Havent tried out the slowmo, but few reviews said it sucked at slowmo.

I jumped on the recent Sandisk Extreme Pro 400gb microsd for it, but Fimi website says it supports up to 256gb microsd, not sure if itd be okay. Will find out when it comes in next week.

          • @ISO9002: That could be something improved by a firmware update perhaps?

            • @Charlie Dont Surf: I just did the firmware update that released on 2020-06-18 but im new to the fimi palm so not too sure what it fixed with this latest firmware.

          • @ISO9002: Care to share how you wentwoth 400gb vard at all? Thinking of getting a 400GB sd card myself for fimi.

            • @armyofme: The fimi palm seems like it does not like the 400gb card, or it throws its game off or something.

It reads the 400gb card just fine every time i inserted it, but sometimes the recording wont start. Once i change it back to my 32gb card, it records every time. Then i tried insert back in with my 400gb card, it does the recording. But if i turn it off, and power on again, it wont start recording. Not sure if it is the card problem or the fimi palm.

              • @ISO9002: Cheers mate thanks for the reply. I will stick to 256gb then.
