Not really if you have been living in a bunker buried 50 metres below ground with 200mm thick walls and no internet access.

          We'll send some over.

      • Lets see if you still think if its a joke if your family dies from it.

        • His family probs stayed inside

    What's the K mean?

  • +6

Just note these are not N95 certified.
Prettymuch equivalent of a surgical mask.
These are made in China, misleading customers with the naming of KN95.
You might as well go for the 3ply surgical masks from here (OOS now)
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/549709
As there is 0 benefit of these masks over the ones linked here.

    • read more, it's different standards from different countries, There's a P2, (aus/Nz standard), KMOEL for Korean standards, etc etc

the most important it to know the rating.

      read more here..

      • I can guarantee you. These masks will not provide you any airborne protection. They don’t have a seal like the n95 and p2.
I’m a CNE in our hospital and we have had these kn95 masks and would never let my staff use these to enter an airborne covid or TB case. There is no protection. It’s only decent enough as an equivalent to a surgical mask, in which it protects you from droplets.

Doesn’t China know a thing or two about masks by now? Why shouldn’t we trust this, is the manufacturer unknown?

  • +1

Still overpriced for a questionable mask. No deal.

With everyone saying "yeah but china certification is ok!" the naysayers, such as myself, are really talking about this stuff:

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-04/china-coronavirus-cov…

If china, as a country, can't offer half-reliable supplies at a country level, this stuff you're buying is going to have zero QA/QC around it.

edit: and the photo is not a typo, it's a deliberate attempt to mislead. It takes 30 seconds to fix if this was a 'typo'.

In terms of the 'misleading' bit, check out the below off their website. Someone has clearly gone and removed the "K".

This makes the deal deserve a neg. Not only is it KN95, they're being deceptive and trying to pass it off as N95.

    • Agree, hard to maintain quality when every Tom, Dick and Harry starts manufacturing PPE in China. Some manufacturers don't even have a QC department.

      • -3

when every Tom, Dick and Harry start manufacturing PPE in China

That'll be Tong, Dong and Hong.

Please do your research before buying any mask, there are ALOT of counterfeit products out on the market that offer little to no protection to you and others.

  • The N95 big photo makes a good scam
