Can you read the description on the linked site? Maybe read the last paragraph in bold text even.

Thanks for the input bro. Xo

Wow. You see an item you might be interested in that much that youre too lazy to even read the ad for and ask everyone else to do the research for youand you get upvoted for it. Explain to someone where to find the actual info they want to know and you get down voted. It pays to be lazy obviously.

Why was this glorified Google Cardboard $399?

    • +1

Which parts cardboard? I’m confused? Maybe the box?

        • -2

This is definitely not that product🤣🤣🤣

          • @TonyBaloney: It’s basically the same thing. Slide a phone into a plastic headset with two plastic lens and call it “VR”.

Oh, and a Wii Mote with 2006 technology. Definitely not worth $399.

            • @PainToad: Are you editing your posts?
Agree that this is not worth $399 but I’d not agree that it is a google cardboard like your original comment.

    • Probably due to the novelty. Back when it was released, VR was even less mainstream. I think it coincided with some Star Wars film too.

For me, it was definitely worth the $35 for birthday presents for the nephews

    • Completely different to a cardboard. It's augmented reality rather than virtual reality. So it's more like seeing a projected hologram in the room with you.

  • Price good. Reviews….not so good.

Yeah although makes me wonder if any reviews were written at a price of $35?

  • $36 delivery to Nth WA!

  • Out of stock already. Boo.

  • honestly probably not a good idea for kids…

poor kids and pity them have to wear specs from a very young age.

    Just killing their eyes sight.
