How to Get a Replacement from Amazon?

I bought the Soundpeats truengine SE from them last week and Bluetooth connectivity has been horrible. Constantly disconnects and audio stutter. I've tried resetting multiple times and it doesn't happen with my Sony's so it's the headphones themselves. I seldomly use Amazon and I'm not sure how the process of getting replacement works. I only see returns but they're more expensive now so I don't want to return them and buy them again at a cost because I was sent faulty ones.

Thanks

They got back to me: happy to do a replacement :) thanks everyone

Contact Amazon? - their customer service is exceptional and you should have no issues.

    • Thanks a lot!

    • Really is. I’m returning my 6 month old Monoprice mini select 3D printer after the Bowden tube failed. No questions asked postage paid return. Just need to find a box big enough.

  • Contact soundpeats via amazon? I was under the impression they're generally OK at customer service. Could be wrong but that'd be my first stop.

Note, might not be broken, might just be BT isn't as good as with Sony level brands BT chips?

    • Amazon has been the best customer returns experience I've had. Normally had to print off a label and attach to package, even for open stuff shipped from Amazon US.

      • Sometimes they will even refund you and let you do what you want with the product.

    • Yep I just did that, thanks.

They're sometimes practically unusable, when I'm on a call, it'll disconnect every 30 seconds. When I'm on YouTube, I get bad audio stuttering. Not ALL the time but it's not infrequent either. Who would even buy these then and it's such old technology as well.

  • @bkhm, I had a similar experience with my Bluetooth headphones (Bluedio brand). It turned out there were two devices which were connecting to the same headphones. After disabling Bluetooth on one of the devices (my laptop), everything was fine. Perhaps worth to check? Did you pair the headphones with multiple devices?

    • Thanks for the suggestion but this was happening even when my phone was the only device connected to it and still happened when I reset. I'd be happy to only pair with one device at a time tbh as long as the connection was stable.

  • Just go on their live chat. They'll process it all and explain what you need to do.

    • yep, thanks! Turns out they don't do replacement so I'll have to buy them at the higher price

      • I've had replacements before.

  • Have you tried contacting the seller instead of just amazon?

    • yeah I did as well, as everyone said here, their customer service is great but they just don't do replacements.
