Looks like an excellent deal for a platinum certified PSU with braided cables. Full credit to @zn7726 for finding this up earlier, thought of posting this to help others looking to build.

  • Have power supplies gone up that much lately? I got a Antec 1300w Platinum PSU for $199.20 about a year ago from this deal- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/462603

This is specifically an SFF Power Supply, so it's really tiny to fit in ITX cases, some as small as 7L! Because of the size limitations, the higher end ones with higher efficiency and overall rated output do cost a fair chunk.

      • This is still a decent amount higher due to covid. I got my 750w for $190 back in Jan for my SFFPC. The 600w was sitting more around the $170 mark back then. Still not the worst price for an incredibly high quality PSU- the braided cables are excellent.

  • How good are Corsair power supplies? Do they have coil whine?

  • This is the same price it's been since May 2019 according to camelcamelcamel

Price may have been the same, but availability might not be. That said, because of the first part, it still isnt really a deal.

  • This has been the same price for a while now.

  • Got 2 of these for $179 each in Jan pre covid from scorptec when they first came out so not a bad price considering everything that's happened. Great power supplies, fan doesn't turn on when not under load so it's very quiet.

  • Lost my cables for one of these in a move… Anyone know a place to get more on the cheap?

    • https://www.pccasegear.com/products/40244/cablemod-basic-mod… there's alot cheaper option to on ebay for under 30 but best to stick to quality. Better ones are 150 lol

      • That's an extension kit though.

        • You might not see this, but there are vendors on Aliexpress that do custom sleeved Cables for Corsair SF PSUs, and compared to local prices, they are quite reasonable considering the quality. I can't remember the name, but shouldn't be difficult to find.
