  • Where did the value of these blue light glasses come from? Looks like you can get plenty for less than $8 on eBay.

    • They're clearly designer brand, it has Smart Phones logo on them……

  • Any bargains?

    • almost all the products on the links are discounted + free shipping

  • Don't most phones have the ability to block out blue light at the software level?

    • No. Changes colour of the screen output. But minimal in terms of "blue light" .

    Blocks blue light ?
Why is the background behind the glass section still white then?

Anything that blocks blue light can't have clear lenses! Unless photos were taken in the absence of the blue spectrum, which I doubt happened here.

"Reduces blue light emissions from screens and lights"
Nope, no, they do not do that!

Also, the impact of blue light isn't nearly as strong as implied.
So I'm downvoting for this comment in particular, which is not based on any research that I've come across (if you prove me wrong, I'll certainly reverse my down vote and apologise):
"Don't risk damage to your eyes, slip on these comfy glasses and stay protected."

Blue Light Glasses are a scam. Several YouTube videos have tested and debunked them.

Yeah the need for these glasses has been GREATLY overstated. Virtually no one needs them or sees any scientific benefit from wearing them. The placebo effect is strong when it comes to these. It reminds me of those magnet wrist band things that were all the rage about a decade ago. Even pro athletes were wearing them… I remember laughing at my wife's cousins who were wearing them thinking they were better basketball players because of them haha… anyways these glasses are the new magnet wrist bands.
