Coffee Club are part of a scandal right now, where the breakfast they've been serving for the past 6 years or so has always come with two slices of bread, now only comes with one. No price change, no notification, the menu even shows two slices of bread. But if you ask staff for your second entitled slice; they'll refuse and say they've been instructed to provide less from now on (the bacon and tomato servings seem smaller, too, but that could be incidental).
I was going at least once a week. We skipped this weekend; that's goodbye $25 so far. I'm going to keep track and spread the word. All of this for a bloody slice of bread. The company has gotten too big to care and has started screwing the loyal customers that got them where they are.
I've also found a couple similar minded regulars who go there, and we are emailing complaints into their website. Please join in if you care at all about having a fair go. Head Office has yet to comment.
