    You can lock them to a fixed object. I have the Travelsafe which has a cable net in the structure of the bag, with a drawstring cable closure. That cable can go around a pole then be locked back to the bag. So when locked you can't just grab the bag and run off, can't open the top of the bag. Of course if you have tools and a bit of time you can cut the cable or the bag, but it's more about deterring a quick job.

  I have their helmet safe (motorbike helmet) and a pack to hold MB jacket. A good product/brand.

  Just wished I got some of their other products when I was working at a motorbike shop.
