AMD Ryzen 7 3800X $502.70 Shipped @ Newegg US via AU

190

Decent price drop on the heel of the 3700X drop I posted last night. Ships from US. Country buyers may be charged $69 shipping - ship to a friend in the city and AusPost it.

Not as cheap as the Amazon UK deal but a decent drop. Amazon AU looks to be next best at $539.16.

  • And another $75 off if paying with Bitcoin?
Good deal for those who regret missing out on the Amazon UK deal.

    • That too, cheers.

    • how?

    • Doesn't seem to work because it doesn't meet the $465 threshold ex. GST.

  • What motherboard to pair with this? Currently got Corsair 4x8gb 3000mhz rgb rams and 2x Crucial P1 1tb ssd.

Not knocking the deal as its definitely a drop, but imo you are better off with the 3700X and putting the $70 saved towards a better board or ram etc.

totally agree, unless you can get a 3800x for about $420 ;p

        • The carrier in question was a good up until a few years ago. Guess that's what happens when you go on a global cost cutting exercise and use the cheapest possible labour.

I have heard of strange things also happening with jewelry via same service (missing/substituted).

        • I did not follow that post after I received my cpu from Amazon Au. Saw one report regarding the missing cpu from the box, did not know it was not just one case, but MANY cases! I was lucky that they ran out of stock…

This deal turns out cheaper than the Amazon deal with the $75 off, I used my $75 off on 3700X and RAM though. $425 shipped is pretty good for this card.

Simply, you pay 15% more than 3700X but cannot get 15% more cpu speed. Actually, 3700x can do stable all core 4.3~4.45G with good cooler.
