      Why are these so expensive? These are still considered low end to some people. There are floorstanding speakers that go for nearly 100,000

      Because they are a great speaker for Home Theatre and HiFi use.

      Q Acoustics are a well known UK brand. Have won a massive amount of awards for this series of speakers.
      The speakers are designed and engineered in UK and then produced in China.

      300mm driver? so 12" subwoofer.

        Currently looking on Rio's Canton brand for $999 as my.limit.

    Rio sound and vision seem to be selling an identical 5.1 package for $700 less. Not much of a bargain.

      That's a different package with the cheaper Q3060S Subwoofer.

      Also, main deal was advertising the 3050i Floorstanding speakers which we have for $100 cheaper than Rio… So it kind of is a bargain…

          There is a big performance improvement by going with the 12" QB12 subwoofer as well, worthwhile upgrade if you can go that option.
