Just received an email from NBA that my access to this deal posted previously has expired. However, they've offered a code to redeem 50% off the access package for the remainder of the season (including all season and play-off games).
Hoping that this is a generic code for everyone !
They don't. This is for guys who didn't pay for LP and want to watch the restart/playoffs.
Here's an excerpt of the email from LP:

Haha what the heck, I had the "Free Preview Pass" they gave out at the start of the year, they emailed this morning saying they're giving us access.
Then just got a second email "oh what was in error, here's a 50% off code"…
Yea same. I thought the free access was supposed to last 4 months, so shouldn't it be till August?

The NBA literraly exists to make money. Why would they restart the season and pay everyone to put on the show and then give it away for free?
following it for now on 30 years … i'm well aware of it what drives the NBA…. but considering what you will be watching (which at best is a hot mess of fill ins and rusty players) and what has happened it should be free and a show case of what they can bring next season… League pass is a piddly part of the money they get from TV rights… so don't you worry they wont be going hungry anytime soon, especially when they are ok to sign players up to 300mil contracts…
So you're saying it's not worth watching it but you'll be watching it? So it's worth watching? As far as i'm aware the players sitting out are part of teams that were unlikey to do anything in the playoffs anyway. If the NBA didn't want to make money they just wouldn't restart the season.
@F-22: saying probably not worth paying to watch… up to you if you want to watch it or not.. i'll follow it but wont be paying to watch it to be honest.
@scud70: I wont be paying for league pass either (i never have) but that doesn't mean i think i should get it for free. I do have foxtel though so i'll watch what ever games they televise on there.
@F-22: yeh that absoloutely makes sense… as your a paying customer already.. just dissapointed in NBA as it was a good opportunity for them to give back to the fans especially with the tough times that some would be having around the world… eitherway i cant wait to see JR n Lebron reunited .. hahaha i'll find a way to watch that game!

That's pretty crappy they're making you buy a new subscription considering they suspended the season. They should have just added months onto your existing subscription. I'd give this a thumbs up for new customers but a thumbs down for existing customers. Just clicked through to the link and saw it was free so carry on..
