      You're a fool then.

    • +9

Buy 10 at 80c, so you can average out the cost back to $1 per cup 😁.

And keep them in your car.

      • This is the kind of person we need.

Idk why but being able to subscribe to this just kinda makes me feel sad.

A delicious meal made in Thailand, delivered across the world to your door for 72c. Truly, what a time to be alive.

Is it good? I usually get mi goreng so don’t remember the taste of this one.

      • +4

Doesn't have the same 'layers' of sophistication, but when you're hungry, you're hungry.

I have fond memories of these from school canteen days as a 'special treat' once a week.

        • Came here to say this too. Reminds me of school canteen days along with those giant Balfours cookies.

        • +1

By canteen treat it was just salt.

I found them to be worse than the Japanese and Korean variants

        Is it good?

Not for me, try Nissin bowl sometime around $1.50 on discount.

出前一丁 is the best. It’s kinda positioned as premium especially in HK which strikes me as a bit weird but okay. Pay extra to have nissin noodles over store noodles.

  • damn no chicken

    • The smaller chicken flavor cups are also 80 cents i think

    That's a fantastic deal.

Yeah much better to go out to the shops and buy it, especially those in Melbourne.

      Oh dear.

What a miserable, miserable life, eh…

    • +1

Why on earth are you on OzBargain then? 🤔

    • -1

lol it’s funny you’re so triggered by a bargain posted on a bargain website

    • You are wrong. It is all just about me.

    • +1

      Who dropped you at birth?

    • Please stop using this website in that case.

  • Anyway, seems OOS.

      Oriental flavour still available

      • -1

        Out of bat flavour unfortunately.

Coles has them for 80c this week too, for those needing soon.

    • Still 4X more expensive than getting the 5 packs packets but then I guess no bowl.

5 pack packets for $1 is my go to for now.

      • How do they compare?

        • Honestly about the same but eating out of a bowl feels more convenient and less clean up but worse for the environment.

I already feel bad ordering 1 bottle, and Amazon using a box 3x the size for an order.

They should have a hold option, where Amazon holds items til it hits 5-10 items minimum to save on packaging and waste. I generally don't need anything from Amazon in a rush!

    • Would be a great feature but they would need a lot more space in the already optimized warehouse to store everyone's irregular pre orders and if somebody cancels their whole cart and order that's wasted extra time and energy for a zero transaction for a feature that maybe not all had wanted so they will never do it unless people really want it and will pull their business for it so riot and spread your message near and far and it might get traction and force them to add it.

This is basically the principle of current movements.

Make noise until the right people hear it.

  • Rather annoying that Amazon only feels the need to match the big stores rather than just being cheap in general.

    • That’s probably their game…

If one day there is no one to complete against. It’s no longer a competition.

      • That's the whole Flight Centre model, where they would match competitors to drive them out of business, well that's my thoughts as to why they did it anyway.
